This is a M11 Sealed Event I did on Magic Online last Thursday. I created a video of my deck building process with some narration. I also created videos for all my matches as I had some pretty interesting games. There are certain insights on a couple different cards that I comment on throughout the videos. One of these cards being inspired charge. Many people I talk to don't really like the card, and generally give me the "it's okay" line. This card seems to always be very good for me and won me some games this event. I also thought about boarding out Sleep against decks with lots of removal spells, like the B/R deck I lost to in the finals. All the videos are posted below with me narrating them. Note: After pressing play, you may want to change from 360p to 480p, 720p, or 1080p to see the cards better.
Sweet
Videos are nice. I thought you built your deck pretty well. I might have played the Mana Leaks, but not sure what to cut. They are better in an aggressive deck and you certainly had that.
Here are my notes on what you screwed up (for the most part I thought you played well):
Match 1- When you Ice Caged his Pegasus, he can just reequip the Pegasus to drop the cage. This was even an extended combo for a while with that equipment that equips for 0 in the Life deck. Luckily you were both awful so he skipped a turn moving it back and worth.
Match 3, G2- Obviously after he lets you 3-for-1 him with the Safe Passage he doesn't have a counter spell. You can just Sleep him and win the next turn, but you give him a couple more turns to suffer.
Last match you already talked about. Any combat tricks are bad against R/B as they can't be relied upon to resolve against so much removal. So, you did sideboard pretty badly. Also, I would have thrown the Cage down on the Vampire immediately as it is a big part of most R/B decks and the Vamp turns the Cage into +2/+2 if you put it on something else and counters Mind Control had you drawn it.
Good job though.
